Walking by this house (with the door wide open at all times) and taking a picture of it was about the most terrifying thing i have done in a long time.

You see... when 9/11 happened, a middle eastern man (turban and everything) moved into this house. I don't look at peoples race or anything like that and judge them, but he was crazy!
He put blue boards (as seen here) over every single window around the house, and since the door was always open, you could see that there were sand bags inside, piled up. He would also put big political signs and even random, wierd signs up on the blue boards, and i remember about every week, there would be something new on the house. At one point he said to a journalist in a newspaper that i read when this was happening, that what happened on 9/11 was a good thing and 'the Americans deserved it' things like that. I also remember when my middle school went on a 5 mile walk, and we passed his house (this was all happeneing at the time) he was sitting in his front step and watched us all walk by. Eyeing each and every one of us as we passed; our principal had to stand at the sidewalk in front of his house to make sure the man didn't try anything... He stopped putting up the signs after about 2 years, and people have calmed down about it, or forgotten it completely. but i remember, and am still scared to walk by this house and take a picture, years after all the chaos happened to begin with.

Thats my true story! :D :)

Wow...that sounds pretty scary.;; I'm glad I've never had to deal with people like that. Who think 9/11 was good. I don't think I could handle it.

i was too young to understand exactly how terrible this man was... what really scared me, was him watching us as we walked by... it was so scary... his eyes were so dark and cold... and he was emotionless. ot was a terrifying experience for a middle schooler. most kids got over it, but he reminded me of my father. not like my father thought 9/11 was right or anything... but that cold stare and the way his eyes shifted from person to person... it was just really scary. i t was as if the man would snap at any minute. i think that is one of the reasons why i am so scared of that house

9/11? wow... well in 2001, terrorists from the middle east (Afgahnistan <-- hopefully i spelt it right) hijacked 2 American planes, and smashed them into the "Twin Towers" in one of the most populus cities in the United States, New York City. The Twin Towers were right next to each other, and there were people working in the buildings, walking around the buildings on the streets and there were obsiously a lot of people in the airplanes that were hijacked.

When they smashed the planes into the Twin Towers, they crumbled to the ground. But before the towers crumbled... policemen, firemen, medics and even random citizens rushed into the buildings to help those that were in, get out as fast as possible before the buildings collapsed. When the building eventually did collapse on itself, many were crushed under the rubbel, and most, if not all that were in the buildings died. Thousands of lives were lost, and it was huge... it was i think the first terrorist attack on American soil (i could be wrong) but it was huge. Also, on that exact same day, more American planes were hijacked and crashed in other areas, killing hundreds more... :( it was a very sad day for America, and many lives were lost... and many familys were/are torn apart because of this... that is one of the biggest reasons why people in the middle east are often projected as "terrorists" in hollywood movies, and even movies made in other places. i cannot explain much more, because i don't want to bore you. but if you have not noticed that many many MANY Americans hate our president, George Bush, one of the reasons is because of this... he was warned that 9/11 would happen, and he didn't act. So yea... thats the truth!

lol, maybe the way i say things might be freightening, but thats just how life is sometimes.... :fear:

:) :D i do have a dark side tho :D if you did not see in the way i write :D

I definitely do not blame you for being afraid of it. Just hearing about it makes me scared, too.;; But at least I think fewer people are out there now that are like that? Or maybe it's just that I'm getting out less and I don't notice. :/ Either way...yeah.
